As the Air pollution increased in NCR region, the NGT banned the use of diesel-powered generators.
and it happens every year after Diwali.
Because in our country it is easier to ban something than to find a solution to that problem,Finding a permanent solution will take time and here there is a lack of time.
The problem lies ahead, Everyone is asking for answers that what is the preparation of the government to deal with it.
So, Just like every year, the government brought notification to ban construction activity and use of diesel genset,
As it seems that these things do not pollute the whole year and after Diwali they start polluting.
Well, there's no point in blaming anyone,
As a professional we should look at the solution which is environment friendly and safe to use.
We know that ,Diesel generators are used in many places for back power, in some places for full time power supply where electricity is not available and
it emits mainly carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxide (NOx) during operation, which pollute the environment.
Diesel based generators are installed in most of the housing societies in Delhi NCR for back-up power and at construction sites for temporary power supply.
And these people suffer a lot.
And it is not that there is no alternate solution for this and everyone is compulsively using it.
the solution is there , but
It required courage to take decision to move out from Diesel generator
it costs a little more
And local authority support is needed for natural gas connection.

The Gas based generator is best alternate solution,Which runs on natural gas and does not pollute the environment and
its operation is in the same way as the vehicle runes on CNG and it is approved by many local authority.
And the biggest thing is that its operational cost is very less if we compare with diesel based system but its initial cost is higher.
Natural Gas Genset Vs Diesel Genset
it's not like it's a great system and it doesn't have any flaws, There is a capacity limitation, availability.But it's not so big that we can't use it.
Now many Indian companies have also started making gas based generators and Many foreign companies have also started their operations here.
And those who are buying their house in such places, they must ask their builder how to get back-up power when the ban is imposed by NGT Because this ban is not for a day or two.
Conclusion
When we know that this problem is of every year and it is not going to be solved easily for many more years.
So we also move towards an alternate solution which is sustainable and environment friendly.
